Partial Wieght Bearing Therapy

Partial weight bearing gait therapy, also called body weight supported gait therapy, is a method of supporting the body to facilitate walking. Partial weight bearing gait therapy has been found to be a particularly effective rehabilitation technique for individuals who have suffered a stroke, brain injury or spinal cord injury.

At our centre, an oval rail system is mounted on the roof top. It is fitted with ball bearing wheel system for smooth motion. Specially designed jacket is used for unweighing the weight. The hand rails mounted on the floor help the patient to walk.
