Stroke Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been used after a stroke to treat spasticity (stiffness of muscles caused by the stroke), loss of function, loss of mobility and for pain reduction. In the centre, the Acupuncture is done by the Physiatrist and electrical stimulation is also given. It is useful particularly in cases of Post-Stroke pain syndromes.
